Who We Are
AshleyDawn.com (the "Site") is operated by W. Stonewall Music Group, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). W. Stonewall Music Group, LLC operates a family of brands under trade names (d/b/a), including Ashley Dawn, Ashley Dawn Studios, Dance Walk Squat, and My Buddy Service, along with other brands we introduce under W. Stonewall Music Group, LLC on their own websites. When this policy says "we," it means W. Stonewall Music Group, LLC and the brands it operates.
One family, one audience. Our brands share a single contact list operated by W. Stonewall Music Group, LLC. If you sign up with one of our brands, your information is kept in that shared list (matched by email address so you aren't entered twice), and you may hear from other W. Stonewall brands โ always with a way to opt out. We do not share this list with any company outside the W. Stonewall family.
Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and cookies installed on your device. As you browse the Site, we also collect information about the pages you view, what websites or search terms referred you here, and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as "Device Information."
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- Cookies โ data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier. To learn more about cookies or to disable them, visit allaboutcookies.org.
- Log files โ track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- Web beacons, tags, and pixels โ electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
When you sign up through the Site (including fan club or early access forms), we may collect your name, email address, and phone number. We refer to this as "Contact Information."
When and if you make a purchase through the Site, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. Your card details are entered directly with our payment processor and do not pass through our own systems. We refer to this as "Order Information."
When we refer to "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we mean Device Information, Contact Information, and Order Information collectively.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We use Contact Information to:
- Send you updates, announcements, new releases, events, and other communications you have opted into;
- Operate our fan club and email list;
- Send SMS messages as described in the SMS section below.
We use Order Information to:
- Fulfill orders placed through the Site, including processing payments, arranging shipping, and providing invoices and order confirmations;
- Communicate with you about your orders;
- Screen orders for potential risk or fraud, including confirming a U.S. billing and shipping address.
We use Device Information to:
- Screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address);
- Confirm that you are visiting from the United States โ the Site, store, and memberships are currently offered only to people in the U.S., and we may block or decline visits, signups, and orders from other locations;
- Improve and optimize the Site through analytics about how visitors browse and interact with it;
- Understand how people find us so we can measure and improve our own marketing.
Cookies & Tracking
We keep cookies to a minimum. Today we use only essential cookies โ the ones the Site needs to work:
- Sign-in & session โ to keep you logged into your account and keep it secure;
- Security โ a bot-check widget from our security provider, which quietly checks that form submissions come from real people and not bots;
- Checkout โ our payment processor, when you make a purchase.
We also keep basic, first-party notes on how the Site is used and how you found us (for example, a link you clicked to get here). This information stays with us.
We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your information for targeted advertising. If we add advertising or third-party analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent through a cookie banner before any non-essential cookies are set.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We share your Personal Information only with the service providers we rely on to run the Site and deliver our services, and only as needed for them to perform that work. Today they are:
- Website hosting, content delivery, and security โ including the bot check on our forms and encrypted backups of our records;
- Database and file storage โ for our contact, membership, and order records;
- Payment processing โ your card details are entered directly with our payment processor and never pass through our own systems;
- Email delivery and text-message delivery;
- Business email and calendar โ the messages you send us, and appointment details for Studios sessions;
- Bookkeeping โ receives payment records (amount, date, and the name on the payment), never card details;
- The AI service behind our chat assistant, when you use it (see below).
Each provider is bound by contract to use your information only to provide its service to us. We don't publish their names here, but we will tell you which provider handles a specific piece of your information if you ask.
We may also disclose your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. If our business is ever sold or reorganized, or if one of our brands is sold or moved into its own company, the records connected to that business or brand (for example, your membership in that brand's fan club, your orders from it, and the consent you gave at its door) may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy. Your relationship with our other brands stays with us.
We do not sell your Personal Information, and we never share your phone number or SMS consent with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing.
SMS / Text Message Communications
Text messages sent through the Site are sent by W. Stonewall Music Group, LLC, the operator of our family of brands (such as Ashley Dawn, Ashley Dawn Studios, and Dance Walk Squat). By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our signup form, you agree to receive text messages from us, which may include:
- Transactional messages: account updates, order confirmations, and customer support;
- Promotional messages (where you have opted into marketing): event announcements, new releases, merchandise offers, and other updates.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for help. Opting into text messages is not a condition of any purchase or membership.
We only send texts to people who have asked to receive them. Your phone number and your consent are never sold, and are never shared with unaffiliated companies for their own marketing. For full details, see our Terms of Service.
AI Chat Assistant
The Site may offer an AI chat assistant to help answer your questions. When you use it, the messages you send are processed by a third-party AI service provider on our behalf so it can generate a response. We use these conversations to answer you and to improve our service. Please don't enter sensitive personal information (such as payment card or government ID numbers) into the chat. You'll be told when you're chatting with our AI assistant rather than a person.
Children's Privacy
The Site, our stores, and our marketing are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing, and we do not target advertising to, or place advertising cookies on, anyone we know to be a minor.
Where one of our brands provides a service that involves a minor (for example, a child attending a class), that information is provided by the parent or guardian, is used only to deliver that service, and is never used for marketing or advertising. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Rights & Choices
We extend the following choices to everyone who contacts us, regardless of where you live:
- Access โ ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy;
- Correction โ ask us to fix inaccurate information;
- Deletion โ ask us to delete the personal information you've provided;
- Portability โ request a copy of your information in a portable format;
- Opt out โ opt out of marketing email (unsubscribe link) and marketing texts (reply STOP).
Some states and countries give their residents specific legal privacy rights โ for example California (CCPA/CPRA), Tennessee (the Tennessee Information Protection Act), other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, and the EU/UK (GDPR). Where such a law applies to you, we honor the rights it grants, including any right to appeal a decision. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To make a request, contact us using the information in the "Contact Us" section below. We will verify your request (to protect your information) and respond within the time the applicable law requires, generally within 45 days. If your information was transferred to us, note that it may be stored in the United States.
How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your Personal Information, and we limit access to it to people and providers who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but if a data breach affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us. Two specifics: our encrypted backups are kept for 30 days and then deleted, and after you unsubscribe or opt out we keep a record of the consent you gave, and when you withdrew it, for a limited time as proof that we honored your choice.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
